Description Michael Monreal 2004-02-07 13:11:30 UTC
Using totem from cvs (2004-02-07) i get wrong colors when
playing videos. all video formats are affected and also
the music visualization plugins. the display is nearly
grayscale, not totally but all colors are turning to some
gray or brown. i compiled totem against xine-lib 1-rc3a.
latest nvidia driver...

Hi,

I'm seeing this too, also with an nvidia card (I'm using the xfree86
driver, though). I don't know what causes it, but going into
preferences/display and moving the color slider to either end of the
bar makes the colors go back to normal. In the middle position it
looks like the red color vanishes (i.e. instead of RGB I have a GB
display, which looks kind of cold).

It's related to 133011, in that after running totem with the bogus
color preferences neither xine nor mplayer will display colors properly.

This is on Debian Sid using the latest (0.99.9-2) package. The problem
appeared in the upgrade to 0.99.9. 0.99.8 was fine.

Thanks,
