Description maco 2004-02-06 01:33:01 UTC
Description of Problem:
sometimes the panel will not accept mouse input.
after about 5 minutes mouse input works again.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. hidden panel
2. terminals covering panel area
3. switch contexts often between terminals and windows
4. sorry - I cannot yet give a step-by-step

Actual Results:
panel does not respond to mouse. does not hides
itself nor respond to main menu or browser, for
example.

Expected Results:

How often does this happen?
about once every two to four hours

Additional Information:
maybe related: auto-hide is flakey, frequently
know knowing when mouse has left menu area. I
*think* problem occurs when panel should have
hidden itself but has not.

What version of gnome-panel are you using?
Comment 2 maco 2004-02-21 18:23:42 UTC
from Gnome 2.4.0, build 9/10/03, for Fedora Core 1
- don't know how to get version for Panel in particular
Comment 3 Vincent Untz 2004-02-21 18:40:56 UTC
Thanks.
If the problem happens because the panel should be auto-hidden but did
not auto-hide, then it is fixed in the latest 2.4.x release and in HEAD.
Fedora uses 2.4.0 version. Someone is working on a new package.
