Description mrmarcusjames 2004-01-19 20:09:14 UTC
Package: acme
Severity: normal
Version: 2.0.6
Synopsis: Gnome freezes
Bugzilla-Product: acme
Bugzilla-Component: general
BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.0.3)

Description:
Description of Problem:
Gnome suddenly freezes. It seems to only affect the Gnome graphical
interface. Regular non-graphical prompts are unaffected.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. sorry, I wish I knew(?)
2.
3.

Actual Results:

Expected Results:

How often does this happen?
daily

Additional Information:
I have a 1.6 Ghz P4 processor with 256 MB RAM which I can't imagine is
overloaded by a few Mozilla windows and some Emacs programmes running.
It doesn't seem to correspond to memory use or processor time, which I
keep an eye on.

Thanks for the bug report. This particular bug has already been
reported into our bug tracking system, but please feel free to report
any further bugs you find.

There were a number of 2.0.6 era gnome-panel crashes with a stack
trace that looked like this one (which have been fixed) and there hard
to tell apart. I'm just marking as a duplicate of 97487.
