Last modified: 2008-09-08 15:12:22 UTC
Option "desktop/gnome/interface/can_change_accels" ignored by gedit. I want assign key F9 to "Insert date and time" menu item but can't.

hmmm... which version of gedit are you using? Are you able to change accelleratos in other apps using libbonoboui (for example Nautilus or Evolution)?
I'm using gedit 2.4.1. You were right, in Nautilus I cannot change the accelerators, but in Epiphany I can. Do I miss something? Is libbonobouimm broken?
Epiphany does not use libbonoboui for menus and toolbars. I think this is a libbonoboui bug.
Switching QA maint to an alias that points at me for easier sorting. Search on 'louie doing alias spam' to find all emails and mark read.
Was talking to Michael from ximian on IRC. This isn't a feature of libbonoboui.
This is broken in GNOME 2.6 too. Epiphany works as usual.
As it's not a feature of libbonoboui, how can you say it's broken?

Isn't this just a matter of editing .gtkrc to enable the feature?

Closing this since it really is just a feature request for libbonoboui to match the features of other toolbar implementations in the stack. libbonoboui is deprecated anyway.
