GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 130882
Extended Input Devices preferences are not saved
Last modified: 2004-01-08 13:41:49 UTC
I can change the mode for a pen/tablet/stylus here: Preferences -> Interface -> Input Devices -> Extended Input Devices -> Configure Extended Input Devices This is fine and I have no problems using the stylus, but these preferences don't get saved and need to be manually reset for each session. Other preferences do get saved, for instance Default Interpolation is ok. The behaviour is the same after removing ~/.gimp-1.3
Did you check "Save Input Device Settings on Exit" in Preferences -> Session?
Checking "Save Input Device Settings on Exit" fixes the problem. This option is in a completely different location, I wouldn't expect anyone else to find it either. Can you change this to a usability bug? Either have a sensible default or place the option in the same location as the settings it effects.
