Description Colm O'Connor 2003-12-18 17:57:42 UTC
Description of Problem:

When copying a snippet of code from a terminal, I
often wish to NOT include the tabbing, as this
messes up the code which the snippet is pasted
into.

Being able to select/copy a SQUARE would make my
life much easier.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1.
2.
3.

Actual Results:

If multiple lines are selected, the *WHOLE* of
the lines between the first and the last

Expected Results:

Hold down the alt key while selecting text and a
BOX is selected instead of entire lines.

How often does this happen?

All the time :)

Additional Information:

Microsoft Word does this. Press alt and you get a
square selection tool. Neat, huh?
