Description Richard Hult 2003-12-11 22:02:50 UTC
OpenOffice spreadsheet export. There is an XSL stylesheet for this, just
needs to be hooked up. Talk to richard@imendio.com about this.

Also see bugzilla,
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=141257

I have a patch for #141257 **WITHOUT THE XSL file*** but I'll
make sure these two share the Export menu within Planner OK
then clean up Cedric's patch to add new parameters, create my
own XSL file (Planner->Planner OLD) and re-issue the lot.

Great idea for exporting (was looking for that)
What time do you think it will be implemented?

What about exporting the Diagramm also as a png or jpg?
Comment 4 Alexey Zilber 2004-06-18 01:39:46 UTC
I suggest that, once you can import into OO, you can export to PDF. Then you
can "print" to any format. Get the Adobe postscript drivers, print to
postscript, then use Ghostscript to convert to any image format. Yes it's quite
a few steps, but you can automate the whole bag using cups. So if you use CUPS,
you can skip ALL these steps and print directly to png/jpg/bmp/whatever directly.

I'm working with Cedric's patch and have it working (need to spend lot more time
on the guts of it i.e. the XSL file) but changing it to use new GtkFileChooser
and the new uimanager (remove bonobo).
Comment 6 Lincoln Phipps 2004-11-25 02:08:44 UTC
As some may know I've sold my house and now live in a Hotel with wife and 3
kids so...... until in a few weeks time I get a new laptop that runs Linux my
ability to develope code is a *little* bit hindered. My servers are in storage too.

BUT I'll still be GNOMING once I've finished some other (paid) work.
Comment 7 Richard Hult 2005-04-24 16:20:33 UTC
I think it might be a good idea to make a generic "export" plugin that can be
used to save to HTML, older planner version formats, sxc, etc. It should only be
a file chooser with a dropdown for the actual format. Export plugins can then
add to that list through a tiny API.

Patch from Cedric Delfosse

This is for an old format that isn't relevant anymore, so I think it's too late to include it.
