GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 128625
Incorrect grouping and sorting of pluggable devices
Last modified: 2006-04-01 11:13:25 UTC
Hello I noticed that in the directory tree displayed in the sidepane in Nautilus File Manager, the sorting of the devices becomes incorrect whenever I plug in USB devices (I have supermount) Initially, if I start the computer with the USB device already plugged in, the display order in the directory tree is correct. But, unplugging the USB device in a running system and plugging in it back again, the device is always shown as the last item of the tree. A consistent sort order is expected (maybe sorted first by device type and then by name within each type) I have supermount and fam installed. I am using GNOME 2.4 and the corresponding Nautilus version. Regards Vivek
