using a gnome-2.5 build from 02 Dec 2003.

-launch GOK
-set selection mode to 'dwell' and use an xinput device.
-select GOK 'window' , then 'dock bottom'
-select GOK 'window' , then 'float'

when GOK switches to 'float' mode, it receives focus(GOK's titlebar and
controls become highlighted). Focus is lost when 'Activate' is selected.
