I have to double click twice to get a user properly selected whether or not
that person is selected first. This needs some love.

This also is the case when selecting with the keyboard. Changing the
bug summary to reflect this.

attempting to fix in CVS.  The patch is not correct, that only works if we can
correctly detect that pam is asking for the username.  It only works in
scenarios where username is really asked as the first question and not in a
general.  I've comitted a patch to cvs and will release 2.6.0.2 very soon with
this fixed (or I think fixed).  The issue is really pam being braindead.
