Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. reboot and login
2. 
3. 

Actual Results:several applications crashed all due to a segmentation
fault - "gnome-settings-daemon process 5723 has crashed due to a fatal
error.(segmentation fault)" and "application nautilus process 5852 has
crashed due to a fatal error (segmentation fault)" three other screens
appeared also but other items appeared on top of them and they couldn't
be read.


Expected Results:


How often does this happen? every boot


Additional Information.... software (Linux Redhat 9) installed today could not get updates because of certificate problems
