Package: file-roller Severity: normal Version: 2.2.1 Synopsis: file roller application crash while moving compressed zip folder to root file system Bugzilla-Product: file-roller Bugzilla-Component: general BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.2.0.1) Description: Description of Problem: app crashes after open a .zip file and atteping to move the single folder stored from the zip to the / (root) folder. Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. create a large (65mb) zip file, where it has all files and subfolders stored into a /first folder. 2. stored it at /home/myuser/download folder 3. open the file /home/myuser/download/myfile.zip with app - so you will see the /first folder that contains all files there. 4. try to move the folder "first" to your file system folder "/" - the application will show "extractitng files..." (or similar) at botton bar. (do not release the mouse botton for a fill seconds) 5. After some seconds - it crashes. Actual Results: application Crash Expected Results: - Create a folder at file system /first with all contents extracted or: - message " you do not have permissions to do it" or: - message: " enter your root passw to perform this operation" How often does this happen? 3 consecutive times - no logout to reattemp again.
