Description jeffshute0 2003-10-05 05:30:59 UTC
Galeon 1.3.9 has some focus problems that make browsing with the keyboard
very difficult. I upgraded from 1.3.5 where I was not noticing these problems.

After opening several tabs, if I switch between tabs using either ctrl-W
(to close a tab) or ctrl-pgup/pgdown, the newly focused tab will often have
lost focus so the new page cannot be scrolled with up/down or pgup/pgdown.
Sometimes the focus can be restored by pressing tab, sometimes it seems
necessary to click on the main window. I'm not sure what web pages trigger
this problem. It seems to occur if you go to slashdot, and open a few of
the Read More links in tabs.

This is a similar to bug 10089. In both cases, the disappearing focus
makes what should be a one-key accelerator require a second keypress or
mouse click to complete.

This is a mozilla embedding issue, it is possible to patch mozilla to
stop these problems.
