Description Mikael Hallendal 2003-09-17 08:37:43 UTC
If the panel is transparent the panel handles should be aswell. In 2.2 you
could have a fully transparent panel but you can not in 2.4 which is a
drawback.
Comment 1 Jerome Haltom 2003-10-20 02:10:21 UTC
Second this. And third and fourth it and fifth. (i've had that many
people I know who use Gnome who mentioned this as being pretty horrible)
Comment 2 Ryan 2004-08-19 19:29:20 UTC
Agreed, however I'm hoping with the impending release of xorg with composite
there can finally be true transparent panel backgrounds.
Comment 3 Jeremie Knuesel 2005-02-06 22:47:13 UTC
Now that applets and menus work with transparent panels, these handles (or hid
buttons when enabled) are the last ugly pieces, please fix them :)

Patch in #306441 is nearly doing this.
