I often use very similar settings to create several reports.

The ability to clone a report, or even have a report template facility
would come in very handy.

If budgeting were done with reports, this RFE would make it easy to set up
your budget for the next period, or set up different projections.

This enhancement has been implemented in gnucash-1-8-branch in June 2004 and
will be available in gnucash-1.8.10.
