GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 119744
Potential typos in keymap names ("Viet_namese")
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Of all the keymap names in presets.xml.in.h, these two are the only one containing an underscore. If those are not typos, just mark it as NOTABUG. #: gkb-new/descs/presets.xml.in.h:222 msgid "Viet_namese" #: gkb-new/descs/presets.xml.in.h:223 msgid "Viet_namese xkb keymap"
Created attachment 19162 [details] [review] Change "Viet_namese" to "Vietnamese"
Raising priority so translators can sooner have a correctly translated gkb.
does this break current configurations ?
I don't have a clue. I don't see anything strange in GKB list of keymaps, but I don't see mnemonic used either. If it's not used, then it should still be removed even if it doesn't break anything, because it will have slight negative effect on usage of translation memories, and it may confuse translators.
Go ahead and commit Danilo.
Fixed in CVS.
