Description Fabrice Alphonso 2003-08-09 12:44:09 UTC
It would be interesting for translation maintainers for a particular app to
have , as it exists for each national teams, the details for each app of
the status of all the translations for this app.
on the web page, we have the choice of gnome release status page, and then
arrive on a page to chose which international team we want to consult.
there could be a sub page asking if we want to see by national team, or by
application.

A page like this for each module, with information about:

* a link to the latest pot file for the module
* branch information for the module
* the translations that exist for this module and their status
* their last translator
* categorization for the module (e.g. gnome-2.2-extras,
gnome-2.4-desktop etc)
* a link to http://cvs.gnome.org/bonsai/ for browsing the module's cvs

would probably also be very useful for module maintainers and
developers ("what translations exist for my app, what is their level
of completeness, who did them, and what branch do translators use").
Comment 2 Christian Rose 2003-08-19 09:37:14 UTC
Hmm, would probably be good to see the translation status for *all*
languages for this app, so one also knows for which langauges
translations don't exist for this app. So change the above to "the
translation status for all languages for this app".

Those features are now inside the new status pages
(http://carlos.pemas.net/GNOME/l10n) please add any new comments about
the new ones.

I know there are some missing options, I will add all remaining ones,
just give me more time and add new features requests :-)
