Upon starting GIMP version 1.3.17, a segmentation fault occurs when loading
the tool-safe-mode plug-in.

I can [P]rocedd past the error and GIMP starts up normally.

Tbis is an artefact of an earlier Gimp installation. tool-safe-mode
no longer ships with the Gimp and the fix is to simply remove it.

Please also note that it is the plugin that crashes, not the Gimp itself.
