Description korn 2003-07-25 03:03:44 UTC
1. Press Alt-F1 to bring up the applications menu
2. Arrow down to "Accessories", over one (to make the menu pop up), then
down to "Text Editor", and then press <CR> to invoke gedit
3. Press F10 to invoke the File menu of gedit. Note that the menu that
appears is the Applications menu of the gnome menu panel, not the File menu
of gedit. Note further that the visual focus indication is on an item in
the gnome menu panel (in my case the volume control).
4. Press ESC to dismiss the Applications menu. Note now that the visual
indication of focus is no longer on the volume control.
5. Press F10 now, and see that the File menu of gedit appears.

I am closing this as a duplicate of bug 118491 as I cannot reproduce
it with proposed patch for that bug .
