During downloading new headers from the news server, I got an error "Error
Reading From Socket" at around 4000 messages of 6000.  Pan then proceeded
to index what it had recieved.  A manual retry via Newsgroups->Get New
Headers immediately decided that there was nothing more to get, despite the
fact that it didn't get the last 2000 or so of the messages from the
previous download.
