Description now michael@endbracket.net 2003-04-19 03:08:09 UTC
When viewing the contents of a directory in list view and attempting
to rename a file (either by right clicking and selecting rename or by
pressing F2), the text field become editable and then immediately
uneditable before I am able to change the file's name. If I revert to
icon view, I am successfully able to rename the file.

I am using Nautilus 2.2 (nautilus-2.2.1-5) as shipped with Red Hat
Linux 9.

For what it's worth, I am using Emacs-style keyboard shortcuts in
GNOME 2 and single-click activation in Nautilus.
