Description Vesa Halttunen 2003-03-28 18:31:15 UTC
When a message containing Scandinavian characters like ä, ö and å is sent
using GnomeICU 0.99 the remote end shows it with an extra space after each
character so that "päähine" looks like "pä ä hine". This did not happen
with GnomeICU 0.98.126 or some CVS version after it (sorry, can't remember
which one). My LC_CTYPE=fi_FI.ISO8859-15 and the remote end is running ICQ
Version 2002a (?). I guess this is related to the "completed i18n support".
Unfortunately it used to work much better for me before :)

I think this is all fixed in the CVS... please verify
Comment 2 Vesa Halttunen 2003-03-30 20:12:39 UTC
Yes, the CVS version works as expected. Marking VERIFIED.
