Description mmmorin 2003-03-23 02:13:52 UTC
when importing excel spreadsheet cell comments are not present
Comment 1 Jody Goldberg 2003-03-23 05:41:22 UTC
True I have not tried to import comments from XL97 or newer formats. We only
support XL95. Its on the todo list, near the middle.

PS.
This is a dup. I'd appreciate it if a bugsquadder could track it down.

I just found this also. The spreadsheet program in OpenOffice
(OpenCalc?) does import comments from Excel 2000 spreadsheets, so you
might want to reuse code from their importer. Just curious, do the
different open source projects use common importer code, or does
everyone reinvent the wheel?
