Description David Malcolm 2003-03-14 18:24:41 UTC
To be properly compliant with the HIG, we need to install ourselves in the
Application menu, and associate ourselves with XML files in the MIME
database (see the HIG!)
Comment 1 Geert Stappers 2003-06-27 14:26:46 UTC
Due the file data/conglomerate.desktop.in,
we are in the application menu.

IIRC gnumeric has MIME bindings,
look into it for inspiration.

Patch is applied. Thanks!
Comment 4 David Malcolm 2004-10-14 01:11:46 UTC
So does this work now properly, with GNOME's new MIME system?
Comment 5 Kjartan Maraas 2005-01-19 21:24:18 UTC
I guess you have to put the mime types the app handles into the .desktop file
these days and run update-desktop-database after installing. Right?
Comment 6 Geert Stappers 2005-01-31 14:10:05 UTC
I guess you could be right ;-)

And to stop the guessing, any pointers with further information?
