GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 106980
Window edge resistance
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Package: metacity Severity: enhancement Version: 2.4.34 Synopsis: Window edge resistance Bugzilla-Product: metacity Bugzilla-Component: general Description: I know metacity is supposed to be a lightweight and simple WM, but the _one_ thing that would really be useful to add is window edge resistance. This would be of great help in arranging windows not to overlap. I don't think this would get in the way of "software that Just Works", as I don't even see why this should necessarily be parametrizable. A few pixels of default resistance wouldn't probably bother anyone. -- Mikko Rauhala - mjr@iki.fi - <URL:http://www.iki.fi/mjr/> Transhumanist - WTA member - <URL:http://www.transhumanism.org/> Singularitarian - SIAI supporter - <URL:http://www.singinst.org/> ------- Bug moved to this database by unknown@bugzilla.gnome.org 2003-02-24 17:28 ------- The original reporter (mjr@iki.fi) of this bug does not have an account here.
