Package: gnome-terminal Severity: minor Version: 2.0.1 Synopsis: terminal crashes if you try and open 2 of them quickly Bugzilla-Product: gnome-terminal Bugzilla-Component: general BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.0.3) Description: Description of Problem: if you try and open 2 gnome-terminals at teh same time (or close to it) you get a crash Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. using the blue curve interface put a gnome-terminal icon on the desktop 2. double click (because finding the setting for single click launch in this interface appears to require more patience than i have) on teh icon twice as fast as you can 3. Actual Results: crash of the application Expected Results: 2 open terminals How often does this happen? every dayw hen i boot up and try to open 2 terminals to quickly Additional Information: i'm running redhat8 on a dell insporon 8100 with 256 megs of ram and an ati radeon 7500 video card. This generally only happens with my external mouse attached but that might be because i can click it faster than teh laptop's touch pad buttons. Havoc says that this has been fixed in version 2.2.1 of gnome-terminal. He made a comment to that effect in bug 95960 just two days ago, so apparently this has only very recently been fixed. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 95960 ***
