GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 106485
The start page is encoded in utf-8
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
The start page is encoded in utf-8, in the translation, but the type of the output sent by start-here: is iso-8859-1, which results in a very broken non ascii characters.
What LANG env var you have set ? So I can repro.
I have: LANG=sv_SE.UTF-8
It's libtool fault.
Obviously not libtool ;) intltool
So, is this working now marco? (Sorry I do not have a working epiphany build to test with)
I cant test right now :/ Will do in the week end.
This is not fixed yet. Using locale pt_BR.UTF-8 (Need to learn portuguese :-)
It works here. Have you updated intltool I guess ?
intltool-0.25-2 as shipped with RHL9 Too old?
Uhm I have 0.25. Maybe you had an old build in data/ ?
Fixelifixed.
