Package: gnome-panel Severity: critical Version: 2.0.6 Synopsis: Gnome panel crashes then tries to restart continuously Bugzilla-Product: gnome-panel Bugzilla-Component: Panel BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.0.3) Description: Description of Problem: Gnome panel starts after loggin in then immediately crashes. It tries to restart itself but crashes every time and stays in that loop. Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. log into X 2. 3. Actual Results: The panel keeps restarting even though it keeps crashing Expected Results: panel should start and wait for action How often does this happen? always Additional Information: I was running Open office and everything started taking twice as long to finish functions like redraw the screen, open a file, close a file, click on a menu. I logged from the gnome menu using the logout script and clicking OK, then when I logged back in the panel flaked out.
