Description Jonas Jonsson 2003-02-06 14:03:50 UTC
I suspect that the post-install thing in the garnome/gnome/GConf/Makefile
is guilty of producing the following in $(sysconfdir)/gconf/2/path ....
We're talking quite a few lines after a while, and that gives a slow
response time on the system.

xml:readonly:./gconf.xml.mandatory
xml:readonly:./gconf.xml.defaults
[these two lines repeated foo times at the end of the 'path' file]

Eeek, really old bug.

Fixed in GARNOME 2.4.0 and later.
