The business details (entered via File->Properties) show up on the
"Printable Invoice" report, but do not appear in the print preview or on paper.

This is the case whether using Default or Technicolour report stylesheets,
even though the business details appear in different places on the
"Printable Invoice" report for the two different stylesheets.

This is a known bug.  It's really a bug in GtkHTML.
