Description of Problem:
gnome-terminal closes almost immediatetly when
using -x.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. start gnome-terminal using -x (ie:
gnome-terminal -x mutt -a file -s blah)

Actual Results:
a terminal pops up real quickly then disappears

Expected Results:
the terminal opens with the command executed.

How often does this happen? 
every time

Additional Information:
I'm not sure if this is a problem with vte or
gnome-terminal. I'm using gnome 2.2rc1.
