GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 103224
Nautilus crashed when I dragged an icon to the trash.
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Package: nautilus Severity: major Version: 2.0.8 Synopsis: Nautilus crashed when I dragged an icon to the trash. Bugzilla-Product: nautilus Bugzilla-Component: general BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.0.6) Description: Description of Problem: I dragged an icon (ymessenger.kdelnk, created by yahoo messenger's .deb) to the nautilus trash, and nautilus crashed "due to a fatal error. (Aborted)" Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Install ymessenger, I guess. (99.19-BETA, if it matters) 2. Let it create the desktop links. 3. Drag the ymessenger.kdelnk icon to the trash. Actual Results: Nautilus crashes. (According to the dialog I got.) Expected Results: The icon goes into the trash. How often does this happen? Once. Additional Information: Sorry, don't know if this is useful. Since the dialog offered a chance to "submit a bug", I took the chance. Let me know if you need more data. I'm running debian unstable, and it's current. Debugging Information: Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/nautilus' (no debugging symbols found)...(no debugging symbols found)...
