Description Steve White 2002-12-29 11:49:09 UTC
Several minutes after dragging an item in Balsa, a ghosty little 'draggable
item' icon will move back from the target to the source ***In front of a
non-Balsa window, if the Balsa window is covered up***

This appears to be the same icon that follows the mouse when an item is
being dragged.

Open a mailbox, select an item, drag it to a different mailbox.

Register displeasure with the results, bring up a browser window (I'm using
Netscape 7.0). Make sure the browser window covers the Balsa window. Begin
composing a Balsa bug.

While you're typing, a little cursor will fly across the browser window,
apparently moving from the target to the source of the drag!

Same here. And it happens several times...
Comment 2 Robert McMeekin 2003-03-29 01:01:38 UTC
It can even span several workspaces. :(

I also see this in other programs like galeon - I'm not sure if this
is a gnome or balsa bug

Do you still see this ? I haven't seen it since gnome2.6.
