Package: gnome-panel Severity: normal Version: 1.4.0.4 Synopsis: Gnome Panel Crashed Bugzilla-Product: gnome-panel Bugzilla-Component: Panel Description: I ran gnome-session from an xterm, over a LAN. the gnome-panel didn't load correctly, and thus I am unable to use Gnome, in its present state. This is on Red Hat Linux 7.3, over a network to a box with RHL8.0. From shell: X :1 & export DISPLAY=:1;xterm & From xterm: telnet host gnome-session & It appears there is a bug in either the gnome-panel, or the gnome-libs - possibly not gnome-session.
