Idea pulldown menu as part of smart bookmark
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
I would really like Galeon to enable pulldown menus within smart bookmarks on the task bar. In the following I will describe how this could work from a gui point of view. First I would go to the bookmarks menu and create a subfolder named "journals" within the personal toolbar. When creating it I should set some flag telling Galeon that I wish the folder to be a "smart bookmark folder". Within the folder "journals", I would create 2 smart bookmarks http://www.arxiv.org http://www.arxiv.org/abs/%s Physical review Letters http://link.aps.org/ejnls/volpage?journal_code=PRL&volume=sdfgnbd&issue=&journal_code=L&pageno=%s This should result in the creation of a single bookmark on my personal toolbar. This single bookmark should consists of a pulldown menu and some white space (For writing the information for the %s'es) 1) First there should be a pulldown menu that enabled med to chose between "www.arxiv.org" and "Physical review Letters" 2) Depending on my choice of journal there should be one or two empty spaces in which I could write the information corresponding to the %s'es (one white space for http://www.arxiv.org and two white spaces for Physical review Letters) This request has also been posted to the galeon-dev list, but I was told that it was better to submit a bug report :) http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_id=1318855&forum_id=6200
confirming that this is an enhancement request. :)
