I like to use my function keys to switch between workspaces quickly. So I
assinged F1, F2, F3 etc... to the "Switch to workspace 1", "Switch to
workspace 2", etc...

And that works, but in some cases switching between workspaces with those
keys locks up the keyboard so I can not type any text in any window or any
app. The only way I can get the keyboard working again is to hit
Ctrl-Alt-F1 (which takes me out of X-windows and into text mode) and then
Ctrl-Alt-F7 to get back. That seems to reset the keyboard so it works again.

I'm not exactly sure what causes the keyboard lock up - since it only
happens about 50% of the time. It does seem to be related to if you have
your cursor in an editable text box when you switch the work spaces at the
time.

If I use the Workspace Switcher to change workspaces (by clicking with my
mouse) my keyboard never locks up, so I'm sure it is related to the "Switch
to workspace" keybindings.  I also tried using other keys instead of
function keys... but same problem.
