About: DOLFIN is the C++ interface of the FEniCS project for the Automation of Computational Mathematical Modeling (ACMM). It includes tools for the solution of ordinary differential equations (ODE) and partial differential equations (PDE). It is developed at the Toyota Technological Institute at Chicago and the Chalmers University of Technology. Changes: This version adds experimental support for general order Lagrange elements (through FIAT/FFC). Mesh entities including triangles and tetrahedrons are now locally sorted according to the convention used by FFC.
About: Spring IDE for Eclipse provides plugins for the Eclipse platform to ease working with Bean Factory configuration files for the Spring Framework. It contains a Spring project nature (with an incremental builder for validating Spring bean config files), an image decorator (which decorates Spring projects and all Spring bean config files), a Spring view (which allows one to browse Spring projects and their Spring bean config files, including bean properties), and an editor showing a graph from the beans of a single config file or a set of config files. Changes: This release migrates Spring IDE to Eclipse 3.0 (Eclipse 3.1M7 is supported too but not required) and Spring 1.2.

About: The Multi Router Traffic Grapher (MRTG) is a tool to monitor the traffic load on network-links. MRTG generates HTML pages containing GIF/PNG images which provide a live visual representation of this traffic. Changes: This release features rrdtool 1.2.x compatibility, smaller confcache, and stops window flashing under Windows.
About: Calendar of Events is a Web-based calendar of events built with PHP and MySQL with an administration interface and a variety of repeating entry scheduling options. This is not meant to have a personal calendar look and feel but rather a community calendar to post upcoming events. Changes: This release removes support for Sablotron and PHP4 and changes scripts to use PHP5 and the new XSL extension that comes with it.
About: The Puto Amo Window Manager is a full featured window manager, but without useless bells and whistles. It is small, fast, etc. Changes: A couple of minor bugfixes were added to this release.
About: The lisp-cgi-utils is a software package for developing CGI scripts with Common Lisp. It implements a very basic HTTP/CGI interface (sending headers, getting GET/POST and environment variables) and offers tools for easier HTML generation with special support for handling HTML forms. Changes: This release adds a system definition for asdf. lisp-cgi-utils can now be loaded properly via asdf.
About: This project is a Linux driver for USB connected Logitech MediaPlay cordless mice. It enables all multimedia keys such as Volume Up/Down, Play/Pause, Media, Track Back/ Forward, etc.. Changes: This release features minor code changes. There is more verbose output for better documentation.
About: Glub Tech Secure FTP is a utility that allows FTP connections to be made using SSL. Changes: A slew of bugs were fixed. There is support for implicit and explicit SSL connections. Drag 'n' Drop is supported. Global bookmarks were added. SOCKS V support was added. Both GUI and CLI options are now packaged into the installer.
About: PHP Polar Tools is a set of PHP classes for the parsing and management of Polar Heart Rate Monitor data. Changes: This release adds the ability to parse and draw altitude. Heart-rate graph customization possibilities have been added.
About: AfterStep is a Window Manager for X which started by emulating the NeXTSTEP look and feel, but which has been significantly altered according to the requests of various users. Many adepts will tell you that NeXTSTEP is not only the most visually pleasant interface, but also one of the most functional and intuitive out there. AfterStep aims to incorporate the advantages of the NeXTSTEP interface, and add additional useful features. Changes: WinTabs, the window multiplexer module of AfterStep, was added. This allows windows to be arranged together, selectable through tabs. Compensation for poorly coded applets designed for a broken dock has been implemented for ease of use. Some bugfixes are included.
About: BlueJ is an interactive Java development environment. It provides a unique user interface that presents a graphical display of the application classes and their relationships, and it lets users interactively create objects of any class. Once objects have been created, users can interact with them directly. This interaction mechanism allows for much greater testing and experimentation than in conventional environments. BlueJ is suited for teaching and learning OO and Java. Changes: This version provides compatibility with MacOS X 10.4 (Tiger). It also includes several other bugfixes and some feature improvements, including the ability to open jar and zip files, improved handling of generics in the codepad, and support for handling UNC paths.
About: Proms is a Web-based project management system whose primary goal is to provide a facility for developers to communicate with other developers, to communicate things to end-users, and to get feed-back from users. It also acts as a placeholder for project information. Changes: This release includes many small bugfixes as well as a variety of security fixes. New features include a completely new interface, improved emailing capabilities, file management, improvements in the discussion module, and various other small enhancements.
About: Xfce is an easy-to-use and easy-to-configure environment for X11 based on GTK2. A priority is adherence to standards, specifically those defined at freedesktop.org. Changes: This a maintenance release aimed at bugfixes.
About: genext2fs generates an ext2 filesystem as a normal (non-root) user. It does not require you to mount the image file to copy files on it, nor does it require that you become the superuser to make device nodes.
About: Parrot Teacher is a small program to teach parrots silly noises and melodies. It's an old project from DOS ages ported to C++. Changes: Initial release after porting from TurboPascal.
About: LeanBackup - Corporate allows you to set up your own JXTA "Rendezvous Server", which allows you to host a private P2P network that automatically encrypts and backs up files to other computers in your network. It also allows access to files from any remote online computer with the program installed and configured for your private network. Very basic network and server administration skills are recommended, although the installer configures a basic system. Changes: The software has been updated to version 2.0 and renamed "BitVault".
About: Sketsa is a vector drawing application based on SVG. It allows users to create vector graphics that can be scaled and printed at any resolution, without losing detail or clarity. It features various tools for optimizing content creation, and includes a property palette, a DOM editor, a source editor, a resource editor, SVG-specific shape tools, transformation tools, and additional illustration tools. It uses SVG as native file format. Changes: This release is focused on bugfixes with small feature enhancements. It fixes a Source Editor Find/Replace bug on Windows, Toolbox Tool and Multiple Document, and Point Tool during Zoom. It improves the Property Editor (adding the TSpan Property) and the Document Object Model.
About: SQLitepp is a multilanguage object oriented wrapper to the sqlite library. It supports self-updatable records and a simple SQL-based query method. Changes: This release has been updated to compile with SQLite3. Some functionality has been added to the Python interface to manage queries and rows in an easier way.

Changes: This release adds -lnnz10 to link string when linking against Oracle Instantclient.
About: fotoalbum is a digital photograph/image management tool and viewer. Additional data is not stored in a picture file itself, but in an XML file. It provides an abstraction layer between filesystem organization and album organization, advanced search features, symbolic links, hyperlinks, and much more. Changes: This release fixes a segfault when canceling the 'new group' and 'add keywords' dialogs. A minor tree-drawing oddity has been resolved.
About: TarDiff compares two related tarballs and reports on differences found between them. It can give a quick overview about what has changed between releases, and provide the release manager with a useful tool to catch leftover or left out files. Changes: This is the first release, which already supports compressed tarballs, statistics on how much has changed, and suppression of autogenerated files.
About: The Simple Logging Facade for Java (SLF4J) is intended to serve as a simple facade for various logging APIs, allowing to the end-user to plug in the desired implementation at deployment time. Changes: The org.slf4j.ULogger interface has been renamed as org.slf4j.Logger.
About: Open Linux Developer is a development environment that provides a graphical front-end to Linux compilers such as gcc. It includes the basic essentials needed by a Linux programmer. Changes: A few bugs have been fixed and there have been changes to the layout of the application. The find toolbar has been enhanced. Gtk and Gtkmm templates have been added.
About: Kye is a puzzle game which takes ideas from Sokoban and the genre of falling-rocks puzzle games. However, it includes a wider range of objects, allowing a larger variety of puzzles to be constructed. It is a clone of the original, shareware, Kye for Windows, and is compatible with the large number of existing extra levels designed for the Windows version of Kye. Changes: This release adds a completely free SVG tile set and supports scaling the playing area for large screens.
About: HL7 Comm is a stand-alone integration tool written in Java that allows you to send and receive HL7 messages over a TCP/IP MLLP connection. It offers a simple mode for testing and a configured mode for running as a full-fledged integration client, either with or without a GUI interface. Changes: This is the first production-ready release of HL7 Comm. Its only feature enhancement is that the simple client configurations now have a memory.
About: SLiM is a simple login manager for X11. It features customizable options, themes, and support for PNG and XFT. It does not depend on a particuar toolkit or desktop environment. Changes: This release adds shadowed text, JPEG panel support, random theme selection, and miscellaneous fixes and enhancements.
About: MySQA is a useful program to analyze log files created by MySQL slow queries or queries that don't use indexes.
About: Fjavac is a compiler for a tiny functional subset of Java. It is implemented in OCaml using Generalized LR (GLR, aka Tomita) parsing and Ordered Context-Free Grammar (OCFG). GLR and OCFG allow token scanning (lexing), grammar parsing (yaccing), type definitions, tree constructions, and error reporting to be cleanly specified and automatically constructed. In particular, GLR handles shift-reduce and reduce-reduce conflicts by local search, while OCFG resolves associativity and precedence at the production rule level instead of the token level. Currently, only parsing and type checking are implemented. A full compiler for Generic Java (aka Java 1.5) is underway.
About: CMus is a small and fast text mode music player. Supported file formats include FLAC, Ogg, MP3 (via libmad), wav, and all module formats supported by libmodplug. Included output plugins are ALSA, ARTS, and OSS. It can be controlled through a UNIX socket. Background playlist loading and a metadata database make loading files very fast. Playqueue, directory browser and integrated help. Three playlist views are available: artist/album/track, shuffle list, and flat list. Three play modes: all, artist, album. UTF-8 support. Changes: Sortable playlist view 3. A 'sort' option. A prepend to play queue command ('E'). It's now possible to display the genre in the playlist views. Many other code changes.
About: PHPrbl is a quick and easy tool that keeps clients using open proxies away from your site in order to reduce referrer spam. Changes: A bug in the pre-checking code has been fixed.
About: coNCePTuaL is a domain-specific programming language for rapidly generating programs that measure the performance and/or test the correctness of networks and network protocol layers. A few lines of coNCePTuaL code can produce programs that would take significantly more effort to write in a conventional programming language. Changes: The new "logmerge" (and complementary "logunmerge") utility, besides making large-cluster runs more convenient, can also identify differently configured cluster nodes to help track down performance anomalies. In addition, system interrupts are now tallied in log files because interrupts can affect measurements. Other changes include support for field widths in log-file templates (e.g. "%04p"), logging of topology information, code and documentation clean-ups, and fixes for various minor problems in the build process to make coNCePTuaL even more portable.

About: cpm (Console Password Manager) is a small console tool to manage passwords and other sensitive data and store them in a public-key encrypted file. It also allows you to configure the whole hierarchy yourself, so it's easily adoptable for many requirements. The encryption is handled through GnuPG, and the data inside is stored as XML. Changes: A Gentoo ebuild file and a more general import function were added. Data from PMS and Password Safe can now be imported. In transparent terminals, the transparency is not overwritten.
About: hmake is a compilation manager for Haskell programs. It is compiler independent, and liberates the programmer from needing to write Makefiles by extracting dependencies directly from the source code. It is aware of all compiler invocation conventions, and of several common pre-processors, including cpp, greencard, hsc2hs, c2hs, and happy. Changes: This release improves the extraction of import decls from source files: corner cases like multiple imports on a single line are now accepted. Source file scanning is now lazier: it stops at the first line that indicates no further import decls are possible. This fixes some bugs dealing with .hsc files and .ly files. The new package story in ghc-6.4 is dealt with, and hmake now interprets the compiler option -odir=foo correctly, as well as passing it on to the compiler.
About: Hat (Haskell Tracer) is a tracing and debugging system for Haskell that can be used for comprehending working programs, and debugging an incorrect one. It consists of hat-trans, which transforms a program into one that traces itself using your normal compiler and a runtime library, and a set of browsing tools that explore the trace after execution of the program has completed. Changes: Hat now supports compilers from ghc-5.04.2 and nhc98-1.18 upwards, including the entire ghc-6 series. There is support for more of the standard hierarchical libraries (but the tracing versions are still only a subset of the full list). Various other feature improvements include recording full source positions in the trace rather than just start-positions, and recording do-notation, meaning that visual linkage from the trace to your program is far more helpful. A range of experimental tracing tools is included.
About: cpphs is a more liberal re-implementation of cpp, the C pre-processor, in Haskell. The C pre-processor is widely used in Haskell source code, but a true cpp is often unavailable on some systems (such as native Windows), and the common cpp provided by the gcc 3.x series has become more strictly tied to the C language, in subtle ways that are incompatible with Haskell's syntax. This includes problems with, for instance, string gaps, and prime characters in identifiers. This project provides a robust alternative to cpp that is more compatible with Haskell and can be distributed with compilers. Changes: This release fixes a bug introduced by changes in the ghc-6.4 compiler. Output buffers are now explicitly flushed before cpphs terminates.

Student and employee information screens are critical components. Changes: This version includes a number of enhancements aimed at making the transition to the next school year smoother. It includes a re-worked system rollover program which should make rolling your students, teachers, courses, and other data simple and easy. In addition, a number of small usability enhancements, an improved gradebook, and a handful of bugfixes were added.
About: HaXml is a suite of libraries and tools for manipulating XML documents in Haskell. It includes a parser, a pretty-printer, a validator, a combinator library for transforming documents, and converters for changing a Haskell datatype into an XML DTD, and for changing an XML DTD into a set of Haskell datatypes. There are also tools for a query language based on XQL. Changes: This release fixes an infinite-loop bug in the document validator and a bug in lexing mixed text and references between quote chars. It also adds support for building with Cabal and installing with ghc-6.4's new package format.
About: Crash Recovery Kit (CRK) for Linux is a tool which can recover your crashed PC. Changes: This release is based upon the Mandrake 10.1 (Official) AMD64 Linux distribution. The kernel is patched with 2.6.11-libata-dev1.patch.bz2 for S.M.A.R.T. support with SATA drives. The sk98lin driver is patched with sk98lin_v8.16.2.3_2.6.11.10_patch.bz2 from www.marvell.com.
About: Logwatch analyzes and reports on system logs. It is a customizable and pluggable log-monitoring system and will go through the logs for a given period of time and make a customizable report. It should work right out of the package on most systems. Changes: Lots of incremental improvements and clean-ups and bugfixes were made. Significant improvements were made to the --range option (run --range help for info). New services were added: audit, sonicwall, and zz-network (which must be enabled in logwatch.conf to make it active). The --numeric option was added to inhibit certain DNS lookups.
About: The legal case management system is a Web application aimed for use by not-for-profit legal advice centers. It currently supports recording case information and its follow-ups. It also provides statistical information on the clients. Changes: Many usability fixes were made. The "reporting" function is now rather usable. The Bulgarian translation was updated. Many updates were made to the on-line help and user's manual. An initial release of a Debian package was made.
About: The ATA over Ethernet Tools are intended for use in conjunction with an ATA over Ethernet (AoE) driver. They perform simple tasks like listing available devices, triggering device discovery, and restricting the network interfaces on which AoE is performed. Changes: A typographical error in the makefile was corrected so that the aoeping tool installs properly.
About: ComputeMode is a product that allows an organization HPC grid to be extended through aggregation of unused computing resources. For instance, ComputeMode allows a virtual cluster to be built using an organization's employees' PCs while they are not being used. Practically, most PCs in large companies are idle at night, on weekends, and during employee vacations, training periods, or business trips. ComputeMode allows you to take advantage of these available resources. Changes: Both client and server parts have been updated. CCISS raid cards are supported. Issues with NFS exports were fixed. Support for Broadcom cards was added. Mandriva 10.2/LE2005 was added as a client OS.
About: IvySync provides synced playback of multiple videos on multiple screens. In the video art field, there are many artworks which require synchronized and parallel playback of audio/video materials. This software provides such functionality for IvyTV supported hardware decoders, with a time precision to the nanosecond. Changes: The codebase has been rewritten in C++ and fine tuned for efficiency and future extensibility. A new GTK2 interface is available to edit playlists. Extensive testing has been done on a 4 video installation.
About: CitrusDB is a Web-based customer database application that uses PHP and a database backend to keep track of customer information, services, products, billing, and customer service information. Changes: This version adds some rudimentary online customer account management and greatly changes the login system so that everything runs through the default index.php file for improved security and easier updates. It adds an updated config file to edit during installation and a new user class that replaces the old user login system.
About: Webminstats is a Webmin module designed to store system information in an rrdtool database and to display historic (hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, and custom) graphs. It is modular in design, so as to be able to log everything from CPU usage to email box size. Changes: This release fixes an incompatibility bug with rrdtool 1.2.x. A batch tool to install webminstats modules was added. An improved lm_sensors module is offered.
About: python-gammu is a set of Python bindings for Gammu, the GSM mobile manager for various cellular phones. It can work with any phone that Gammu supports, including many models by Nokia, Siemens, and Alcatel. Changes: This is mostly a bugfix and documentation update release.
About: Makefiles is a high-level build system and suite of portability tools. It is meant to be easier to use than autoconf and generally superior. The package contains a set of rules that allows you to compile structured projects with small and uniformly structured makefiles. All rules are located in a central directory. Compiling the projects on different platforms can be done simultaneously without having to modify any of the makefiles that are located in the projects directories. Changes: Sub directories now use the SSPM (Slottable Source Plugin Module) method by default. Support for the Schily Source Package System (SPS) was added.
About: The MinGW Developer Studio is a cross-platform C/ C++ IDE for the GNU C/C++ Compilers. It features a multiple document interface, syntax highlighting, code folding, help integration, project management, debug and release project configuration support (like Visual Studio 6.0), debugging support, code calltip, makefile support, smart indent, and more. Changes: A way to configure the GNU toolchain was added. The editor may be customized by the user. Programmers may develop Win32 applications using the MinGW C/C++ Cross compiler and execute Win32 applications using Wine.
About: phpMyBackupPro is a Web-based MySQL backup program. You can schedule backups, and download, email, or upload backups with FTP. File directories can also be backed up. No compression, zip compression, or gzip compression of the backups is possible. HTTP or HTML authentication is possible. It has an easy user interface and is easy to install. Many languages and online help are available. Changes: Detailed system information is shown on the "start" page. Multi server mode is now usable with the "single db" attribute for all servers. date.dat is no longer required. Accesskeys were added for the menu items (alt+key). The ability to upload .gz files and .zip files (but only those ZIP files created by phpMyBackupPro) on the "sql_queries" page was added. System variables were added for storing non-configurable settings and system status values. A debug mode for scheduled backup mode was added. If more than one db is available, "CREATE DATABASE IF NOT EXISTS ..." will be added to the backup files.
About: Help Desk Reloaded is a Web-based helpdesk customer support system. Its users can quickly log help desk tickets, and customer support representatives can track calls, assign priorities, etc. Changes: The trouble ticket priority page has been fixed. The edit and delete appended trouble ticket resolution have been debugged.
About: GmailAgent is a application that acts as a local email client and can be used by programs like digikam, gthumb, and others to provide email access to a Gmail account. Changes: A browser to view help files was added. The installer was much improved and a manpage was added. Some minor bugs were fixed.
About: With Config::General you can read and write config files and access the parsed contents from a hash structure. The format of config files supported by Config::General is inspired by the Apache config format (and is 100% compatible with Apache configs). It also supports some enhancements such as here-documents, C-style comments, and multiline options. Changes: A new files() method was added, which returns a list of all parsed files. The relative include feature was fixed. Blocknames with whitespaces were fixed.
About: CLEX is a file manager with a full-screen user interface written in C with the curses library. It displays directory contents (including file status details) and provides features like command history, filename insertion, or name completion in order to help the user to construct commands to be executed by the shell (there are no built-in commands). CLEX is easily configurable and all its features are explained in the on-line help. Changes: The sort order in the directory panel was not controlled by the configuration parameter COLLATE. This is now fixed. The panel used for confirmation of the configuration changes has been merged into the configuration panel. Entries in the command history list can be now deleted. A new option has been added to the directory compare panel.
About: The abcMIDI suite consists of programs for turning ABC music files into MIDI and vice versa, typesetting them as PostScript files, and manipulate them in several ways. Changes: A few bugs affecting voice splitting were fixed. abc2abc now supports voice splitting as well.
About: abcm2ps is a package that converts music tunes from ABC format to PostScript. Based on abc2ps version 1.2.5, it was developed mainly to print baroque organ scores that have independant voices played on one or more keyboards, and a pedal-board. It introduces many extensions to the ABC language that make it suitable for classical music. Changes: Several bugs affecting clefs, bars, and stem lengths were fixed.
About: Teamwork is a Web-based application specifically for team work management. It improves worklife quality by helping production cycle information flow management via stage coordination and allocating tasks to everyone involved. As an application, it combines document management, groupware, and project management features with fine-grained area and role-based security. It supports multiple databases (via hibernate), browsers, and languages, and is skinnable. Changes: A new layout was created for the home. The assignment report was much improved, and other improvements were made. Priority and relevance are now usable. The issue list now gives totals. The pagination of the lists of issues, resources, tasks, and task children now defaults to 100. The print task was improved.
About: PTXdist is a build system ("executable documentation") for compiling root filesystems for embedded systems. PTXdist is based on a KConfig configuration system in combination with a set of rules which describe how all the source packages out there have to be tweaked to be compiled into a proper root filesystem. Once a configuration has been developed, reproducing it is as easy as "make world". Changes: This release adds ipkg packaging support to PTXdist, so it is now possible to build embedded systems which can be updated with the ipkg tool. Toolchains are now being built with crosstool-0.32, with an additional patch for building uClibc based toolchains. For people living behind a firewall, PTXdist now offers proxy support via "make setup". This release contains various bugfixes and package updates.
About: cdrtools (formerly cdrecord) creates home-burned CDs with a CDR/CDRW recorder. It works as a burn engine for several applications. It supports CD recorders from many different vendors; all SCSI-3/mmc- and ATAPI/mmc-compliant drives should also work. Supported features include IDE/ATAPI, parallel port, and SCSI drives, audio CDs, data CDs, and mixed CDs, full multi-session support, CDRWs (rewritable), TAO, DAO, RAW, and human-readable error messages. cdrtools includes remote SCSI support and can access local or remote CD writers. Changes: Makefiles-1.5 is now used. New autoconf tests/workarounds were made for broken Linux kernel include files. A workaround for the Linux Generic SCSI transport that has been broken with Linux-2.6.8.1 was introduced. The -shorttrack option for RAW mode is now also allowed. The minimal grace time was enhanced from 2 to 3 seconds to make sure that cdrecord will work with the volume management system. Better checks and better error messages were written for /etc/default/cdrecord. Support for Ultra speed+ CD-RW media recognition was added. Mkisofs diagnostic programs no longer dump core when called with dev= parameters.
About: LinCVS is a graphical Interface for the cvs client command line tool. It can load modules from a server (checkout), create modules on the server (import), check the state of directories and individual files, and update them. Basic operations like add, remove, and commit are supported as matter of course. More advanced features include showing the actual differences between the server version and the local sandbox, graphical display of the version tree, and graphical support for project maintenance. All actions are logged on the cvs server. Changes: This version fixes a lot of bugs, including a crash and freezing of the GUI.
About: Sylpheed is a GTK+ based, lightweight, and fast email client. Almost all commands are accessible with the keyboard.
