Remove pictures

You can remove unnecesary or unwanted pictures directly on the image viewer. There are two ways to remove pictures. One of them is to move them to the trash. The other is to delete them permanently.

Move pictures to the trash

You can move pictures to the trash. The removed files in the trash can be recovered.

Make sure that the picture which you want to remove is opened.

Choose EditMove to Trash on the menu bar. Alternatively, right-click on the picture to open the context menu, and then choose Move to Trash.

Delete pictures permanently

You can bypass the trash to delete pictures permanently. Note that the files deleted in this way cannot be recovered.

Make sure that the picture which yor want to delete is opened.

Choose EditDelete Image on the menu bar. Alternatively, you can use ShiftDelte shortcut keys. The confirmation dialog appears to ask whether you want to delete it permanently.

Press the Delete button in the dialog. If you do not want the confirmation dialog any more, select the Do not ask again during this session option in the dialog.

You can remove multiple pictures in the image gallery at once. Select pictures which you want to remove in the gallery, and then remove or delete them in the same way.
