The man page description section has fallen slightly out of date.

It describes itself as being for GNOME specifically rather than for any freedesktop.org compliant desktop, and still mentions xmame even though xmame support has been dropped.

Synchronize the man page, README and doap file descriptions as they're all slightly different.

Also update the month/year.  It still says October 2007.

Maybe automate it to show the tarball's release date?
