GVA tries to inhibit the screensaver using DBUS APIs that do not exist anymore or that is not available on default Ubuntu 12.04 installations:

(gnome-video-arcade:5532): Gva-WARNING **: Problem inhibiting the screen saver: GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.UnknownMethod: Method "Inhibit" with signature "ss" on interface "org.gnome.ScreenSaver" doesn't exist
