Description Yann 2010-09-22 01:48:07 UTC
Evince does not respect the EXIF orientation flag : it cannot recognize when
a picture has been rotated using a EXIF rotation flag.

1) Rotate a picture with Shotwell (for example), then save.
2) Open the picture with Evince

Current result : the picture displayed by Evince is not rotated
Expected result : the picture displayed by Evince is rotated

The pixbuf backend is just a toy, Evince is not an image viewer, use eog instead. Thanks for reporting.
Comment 2 Christian Persch 2010-11-28 15:12:11 UTC
Maybe we should just remove the pixbuf backend already.
Comment 3 Carlos Garcia Campos 2010-11-29 12:24:46 UTC
Yes, it doesn't make sense, eog is the right app for opening image files.
Comment 4 Christian Persch 2010-12-04 13:37:03 UTC
Done one master.
