GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 615183
File selection visual improvement
Last modified: 2021-06-18 15:50:04 UTC
Created attachment 158210 [details] alternative selection atatched a mockup to improve the selections made in nautilus. It doesn't obscure the content, and it's a bit more consistent with treeviews. It's probably easier to theme as well.
Confirming and changing component. (We're phasing out the Visual Design component.)

Created attachment 175708 [details] Screenshot Just attaching a screenshot from the duplicate bug, showing the difference between Nautilus and the rest of the Gnome apps. I think the default look should be adopted.
Still valid in 3.1.4.
and in 3.2.1. what about 3.3?
(In reply to comment #6) > what about 3.3? Feel free to test it if you think that it's important to know.
i think this bug could be closed as fixed
(In reply to rockonthemoonfm from comment #8) > i think this bug could be closed as fixed The situation has not changed, so no.
GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org. As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately quite limited so not every ticket can get handled). If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent and supported software version of Files (nautilus), then please follow https://wiki.gnome.org/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines and create a new ticket at https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/nautilus/-/issues/ Thank you for your understanding and your help.
