Description Owen Cliffe 2002-10-29 16:44:31 UTC
Package: GGV
Severity: normal
Version: 1.99.95
Synopsis: Zoom with sidebar wierdness
Bugzilla-Product: GGV
Bugzilla-Component: GGV

Description:
Description of Problem:
if you try and increase or drecrease the zoom level with the zoom spin
box on the left the document spontaneously zooms out, repeatedly
decreasing the zoom by some proportion untill a zoom level of 17% is
reached. Once this has happened all menu-bar zoom functionality causes a
similar thing to happen. ]

Zoom in : Goes to 20% then back to 17% immediately
Zoom 1:1: Goes to 100% then back to 17% and sometimes does this a number
of times (2-3 times) with no apparrent pattern.
Fit and Fit width: zoom to the appropriate level then back down to 17%

the document starts to be re-drawn between all the above changes.

The main tool bar zoom functions work fine to start with.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. open any PS document
2. try to increase or decrease the zoom using the zoom box spin buttons
3. watch the document shrink to 17%

How often does this happen?
All the time.

Additional Information:
I have a xinerama setup with :0 split accross two 1152x864 desktops,
Gnome2 is all rh8.0 stock.

I can't reproduce this. I doubt it matters, but can you check it on a
non-xinerama setup?

Can some other RH 8.0 Gnome2 user confirm this? I'll send it off to
phoenix...
Comment 2 Jaka Mocnik 2002-11-09 18:16:03 UTC
I got confirmation from other RH8.0 users. I also got myself an
account on a RH8.0 machine and will be inspecting this.
Comment 3 Jaka Mocnik 2003-05-25 14:06:30 UTC
I can't reproduce this anymore with HEAD or 2.0.0. Can anyone else?
