Description Christian Biesinger 2002-10-23 12:53:39 UTC
I have a OpenCalc file (.sxc) which gets imported a bit wrong...
I'll attach the file and a screenshot comparing the display of Gnumeric and
OpenCalc.

Comment 3 Christian Biesinger 2002-10-23 12:58:05 UTC
left program is gnumeric, right one opencalc.

gnumeric dropped some cells, esp. "VO Math 1" ones, and put other ones
in the wrong column.

this is cvs head from sunday or monday.
Comment 4 Jody Goldberg 2002-10-23 16:43:27 UTC
Looking at it now.

1) a pile of console warnings while trying to generate warnings when importing merged cells
Comment 5 Jody Goldberg 2002-10-23 20:56:44 UTC
2) Looks like covered cells contribute to the implicit location
3) looks like covered cells can be repeated
4) repeated cells can have content that is copied

Ok. patched in cvs.
Comment 6 Christian Biesinger 2002-10-24 16:39:33 UTC
great, thanks, looks much better now.
However, there still is a small problem - the vertical alignment for
the merged cells is imported as "bottom", when it should be "top" (as
can be seen from the screenshot as well).

other things that I noticed just now: the cell width doesn't seem to
be imported; and the document is imported with font "helvetica" size 9
when it should be Albany (I think... at least that's what Openoffice
tells me here on linux (I created the doc on windows). must be their
default, as I'm sure I didn't change the font) size 10.

therefore, reopening this bug.
Comment 7 Christian Biesinger 2002-10-24 17:14:07 UTC
ok, vertical align issue now fixed as well, thanks!

as the rest is not so important to me, lowering severity.
