Attach files with the bug report will be a very usefull feature (also
it will allow automatical screenshot for usability bugs)

The problem with this is that current bugzilla doesn't allow to attach
anything when opening the bug. We'll need to wait until bugzilla guys
implement this (I think it's not in 2.17.1)
Comment 2 Luis Villa 2003-06-30 21:15:58 UTC
Fernando, have we filed this as an upstream enhancement request?
Comment 3 Fernando Herrera 2003-07-01 03:33:03 UTC
Not me.
Comment 4 Fernando Herrera 2003-07-01 15:41:46 UTC
Okey, after investigating a bit on this, current bugzilla allows to
import a new bug with an attachment. So we need to hack a way for
sending them. I think enconding them in base64 in the mail from
bug-buddy and then add suport to halloween parser to add this base64
field to the xml to be imported by import.xml.

bug-buddy is not under active development anymore and had its last code changes
many years ago. Its codebase has been archived:
https://gitlab.gnome.org/Archive/bug-buddy/commits/master

Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping to reflect
reality (see bug 796784). Please feel free to reopen this ticket (or rather transfer the project to GNOME Gitlab, as GNOME Bugzilla is deprecated) if anyone takes the responsibility for active development again.
