Description Havoc Pennington 2002-07-29 16:35:15 UTC
Name and Comment imply GNOME-specificity but the tool can also report
Evolution, etc. bugs. If it's really GNOME-specific should have
an OnlyShowIn=GNOME; line.

Categories line should have a semicolon at the end of it to comply with
WM spec.
Comment 1 Fernando Herrera 2002-12-13 03:19:14 UTC
The Categories line is fixed now.
The name is also generic (Bug reporting tool), but the comment is
"Report a bug in GNOME". Maybe we should change it to "Report a bug in
your desktop" os "in your applications".
Comment 2 Luis Villa 2003-06-30 20:05:50 UTC
For all intents and purposes it is a GNOME+Ximian tool, even if
concievably it could be used for other things. Of course we know that
GNOME apps (evo) are used even in mostly-KDE desktops, so
only-show-in-GNOME is probably not appropriate. I vote for leaving it
like it is, maybe with a slight clarification to 'Report a bug in
GNOME-based applications.' Yes, it's suboptimal, but until the KDE
people jump on the bandwagon, it's most accurate.
