I'm using GNOME 2.0 final, and the problem with
task list is whenever i open a new app or window,
it aint gonna be shown in the tasklist, the only
way to make it avalible in the tasklist is to
switch to another virtual desktop and come back to
the previous one!, another bug in the tasklist is:
you can't minimize using double click, that
problem was in RC2 and still in the final.

The second bug is a longstanding one that just got marked 'high',
though I don't know the number offhand.

The first bug works fine here. What WM are you using, what specific
apps are you opening, etc?

I'm using sawfish 2, and, and the apps that im facing problems with
is: gaim 0.59, mozilla 1.0, netscape 6.2, also it seems that if you
wait for 10 seconds~ they will appear without switching to another
work place.
