This problem has been fixed in our software repository. The fix will go into the next software release. Once that release is available, you may want to check for a software upgrade provided by your Linux distribution.

I'm still having this problem in version 3.18.0
Comment 5 Piotr Drąg 2015-10-17 01:40:35 UTC
It's been fixed in 3.18.1.
Comment 6 Robert Roth 2015-10-17 10:03:05 UTC
Actually, 3.18.0.1, but yes, it has been fixed, and the update will arrive sometime, depending on the distro you are using, sooner or later.

Strange. I also have 3.18.0-1 on Fedora, and it does not happen for me anymore (since the fix for this bug). Which distro are you seeing this on, and with which theme? What GTK+ version?
Comment 10 josua.kollmann 2015-10-20 20:00:19 UTC
Im using Arch Linux, it happens with Numix-Blue-Remix and with Adwaita, so I doubt that its the theme. Gnome is on version 3.18.1 and it should be gtk3 3.18.2-1.

Ok, mistery resolved, I hope. Based on the arch package repo [1], gnome-system-monitor 3.18.0.1-1 should be your version number (updated on 10-21, aka today), not 3.18.0-1 as you said that you have. Please use pacman to update system monitor, and the issue should be fixed.
