GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 746880
Add a LaTeX log viewer
Last modified: 2018-02-23 16:23:46 UTC
When compiling a document, there is already a summary of the errors/warnings in the bottom panel, but this summary is sometimes not sufficient. From time to time we thus need to open the log file, which is much longer. With a log viewer: - The errors/warnings located by LaTeXila would be highlighted in the log file. - In the left margin there would be icons to jump to the location in the *.tex file where the error occurred. - At the top and bottom of the left margin, it would be nice to have navigation arrows to go to the previous/next error.
