When using the HighContrast theme, the sidebars of the “Artists” and “Playlist” views should be themed according with the rest of the UI, in a way suitable for visually impaired people.

Hey thanks for report, is this still an issue with gtk+/gnome-music 3.20 and all the changes it brought to the theming?

If so, can you provide screenshots of what you think is wrong with it?

Screenshot.

This theme is designed for people needing an important contrast. I do not think that writing black-on-hard-grey is a good idea there. Having just a really light grey as background would be quite better.

Agreed, this is a styling issue. Its just the normal styling.
